Zebrafish Morpholinosspecific translational repression
The Expression Arrest Zebrafish Morpholino Library
contains hundreds of oligos designed and synthesized to rapidly reduce gene
expression levels. Each sequence is designed to block the translational
start site of the targeted gene. As morpholinos are synthesized
synthetically and are nuclease resistant, the expression level reduction is

To create the library each gene’s start site was identified and a morpholino produced that is complementary to ~25 bases -25 to +25 bases from the start. Once synthesized, each oligo is confirmed by mass spectrometry, packaged and sterilized for shipment. Each morpholino is provided as 50 nanoMoles of lyophilized product in a glass vial.
