Secondary Antibodies

Secondary antibodies manufactured by our partner Open Biosystems are affinity purified and negatively adsorbed against common cross-reactive proteins to assure the best possible signal to noise and detection sensitivity. Affinity purification not only selects for the most specific binding antibodies, but it also removes unwanted pre-immune immunoglobins and serum proteins that tend to result in high background noise or non-specific assay results.

A series of different labels are offered for each antibody type so that primary antibodies can be detected in wide variety of assays. Whether you simply need a cleaner peroxidase-labeled antibody for western blotting or you need a fluorescent marker such as Fitc or Tritc, the right antibody is available.
