pSM2 Retroviral shRNAmir Libraries

Increased, more specific knockdown...guaranteed
The retroviral shRNAmir libraries were developed in collaboration with Greg Hannon (CSHL) and Steve Elledge (Harvard). Designed with features aimed at increasing gene knockdown efficiencies and versatility of use in RNAi screens shRNA libraries provide solutions for diverse RNAi applications.
Features of the shRNAmir  libraries include:
Finding your shRNAmir of interest
   (1) Enter gene symbol(s) or GenBank accession number(s) into the clone query () or into the shRNA query () in the  purchase grid
   (2) Results highlighted by a yellow icon  are exact matches to your search criteria
   (3) Click on the details link for additional information including hairpin sequences.
   (4) Order directly online. Constructs are shipped in 48 hours.
Alternatively you can send your gene symbols or accession numbers to our supplier at  info@openbiosystems.com and our supplier's technical representatives will perform your search for you.

This product is covered by a Limited Use License

Note: Inherent in the growth of large bacterial cultures is the tendency for a few clones to be non-viable. In our hands this percentage is <3%.

Shipping Information:
The shRNAmir genome-wide libraries and rearrays of gene families are provided in 96-well microtiter plates containing frozen stock cultures of E. coli (DH10bpir116) in LBR broth with 8% glycerol and chloramphenicol (50ug/ml). Open Biosystems checks all cultures for growth prior to shipment. Individual shRNAmirconstructs are shipped as glycerol stock cultures on wet ice. Store at -80ºC.
