To optimize
the assay, ZeptoCoat is applied to stabilize adsorbed or
immobilized proteins after the matrices have been bound to
the plate and a blocking solution has been applied. Add 100
µL of ZeptoCoat to each well and incubate for 1 hour at room
temperature. Aspirate the remaining solution and allow the
plate to dry for a minimum of 4 hours at room temperature.
To optimize stability, store the plate at 4°C in a
resealable bag with a desiccant.
ZeptoCoat may
be used alone or in conjunction with a blocking solution. We
recommend using a blocking agent to eliminate nonspecific
binding of protein to the plate and minimize background.
Casein, gelatin, serum or albumin may be used or ZeptoBlock
which is specifically formulated for this purpose. Prior to
coating the plate with ZeptoCoat, add 200 µl of ZeptoBlock
to each well and incubate at room temperature for 2 hours.
Aspirate the remaining solution and add 100 µl of ZeptoCoat
to each well. Aspirate the remaining solution and allow the
plate to dry at room temperature for a minimum of 4 hours
prior to sealing in a bag with a desiccant. Store at 4°C. |
