ULTRAN® - MaxiFlex is a CrossFlow system, which was
developed for the laboratory/pilot scale up to smaller
productions in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical market. The
design meets the requirements of GMP and makes a simple
validation possible.
The system can be operated with the stainless steel filter
holders ULTRAN - FH - Slice or - Pilot. The exchange can be
managed simply and quickly with minimum effort. Membrane areas
between 0.1 m˛ and 2 m˛ can therefore be realized by the use of
our membrane cassettes ULTRAN - Slice and Pilot, depending on
application.
The pipe pressure regulators included in the basic version at
the inlet, retentate and filtrate allow precise adjustment of
the process conditions. The digital flowmeter allows easy
observation and adjustment of the output of the
4-piston-membrane-pump. The 10 litre reservoir has two windows
to check the filling level.
Documentation of the process conditions (pressure, flow rate,
pH value, conductivity and temperature) is possible with the
digital version. Use of our unique heat exchanger systems allows
temperature control of the feed solution.
ULTRAN® - Heat Exchanger cassettes in both Slice and Pilot
format and the appropriate separating plates are available as
accessories. Special plant configurations can be produced on
request.
