MediSure™ Filters for Respiratory Therapy
Definition: During treatment of lung disorders and breathing
impairments, patients can be exposed to contaminants from ventilator-
and respirator-generated oxygen gas streams. Without effective
filtration, patient safety is jeopardized. In addition, contaminants can
cause respiratory equipment malfunction due to moisture accumulation.
Requirements: This application requires durable products with
hydrophobically treated material capable of filtering dust, lint and
bacteria from gas streams during mechanical ventilation and CPAP
applications.
