requirements of the NCCLS standard LA4-A3, "Blood Collection on
Filter Paper for Neonatal Screening Programs; Approved Standard
- Third Edition." While BFC180 is the technology of choice for
neonatal screening programs worldwide, it can also be used for
the routine collection of samples for diagnostic analysis.
