E-3 Western

The E-3 Western assay utilizes PVDF membranes for analysis of proteins transferred from SDS gels using standard transfer methods or using the E-3 apparatus in semi-dry transfer mode for 30 minutes. E-3 pulsed electrophoresis promotes rapid and specific antigen/antibody binding reducing antibody incubation times to 6 minutes. The E-3 Western apparatus consists of two flat electrodes allowing both semi-dry transfer and antibody incubations. During these incubations Trevigen's novel E-3 Power Switch^TM supplies the pulsed electrophoresis to the connected E-3 apparatus. For semi-dry transfer, the E-3 Western apparatus connects to a standard power supply in lab. E-3 reagent kits are available for chemiluminescent or colorimetric detection and include membranes, filter paper, buffers, and detection substrates for 10 blots.

** Using E-3, a Western Blot can be completed in as little as 35 minutes after 30 minutes of transfer!
