E-3 ELISA - Electrophoresed Enhanced ELISA
|
 The
E-3 utilizes standard 96 well filter plates in which the polystyrene
multiwell plate has a multilayered filter instead of a plastic well
bottom. The capture antibody or antigen is immobilized onto the filter,
and antibody or antigen solutions are then added into each well.
Electrophoresis is used to promote rapid and specific antigen/antibody
binding. The E-3 ELISA apparatus consists of a flat lower electrode that
contacts the solution in each well via the wet filter. The upper
electrodes individually protrude down into each well to contact the
buffer.
Using E-3, a standard ELISA can be
completed in as little as 30 minutes! |
