      Two sizes of Unit in The Tank Sub        Electroblotter range

Designed primarily for wet electroblotting of proteins, The CSL range of Tank Sub Electroblotters offers a combination of increased capacity with economy saving features. There are two units in the range with the following features:-

Increased capacity – Up to five gel cassettes can be utilized at any one time, especially useful in high throughput laboratories.  

Buffer saving cassettes. These improve blot economy by ensuring the minimum of buffer for is used as required.

Wide range of gel thickness can be blotted. Gels from 0.25 up to 3mm thick can be blotted without the need for additional equipment.

Uniform Electrode Field – Is provided by a high intensity coiled electrode and ensures uniform transfer across the blot surface

Rigid cassette construction – To ensure contact between the gel and membrane is retained throughout the blot and an even pressure is maintained.  

Ventilation Lid – Further aid homogenous sample transfer by preventing overheating. Do not allow inadvertent contact of the buffer.

Clear construction – Allows viewing of the electrodes and cassettes to ensure transfer is occurring correctly.

Even buffer dispersal – These units are compatible with Magnetic stirrers to aid heat dispersal and prevent pH drifts in the buffer due to incomplete mixing.
