Description: Human PI3K (p120 gamma) (GenBank Accession No.AF327656), full length with N-terminal His tag, MW=131 kDa, expressed in an Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system.

Formulated in: 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 50% glycerol, and 3 mM DTT.

Purity: >80% by SDS-PAGE .

Enzyme Activity: p120 gamma activity was determined using PIP2 and ATP as substrates. Assay buffer: 50 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 5 mM MgCl₂, 1 mM DTT, 3 uM Na-orthovanadate, 0.1 mM ATP, 1 uM PIP2, and 60 ng/ul p120 gamma. The enzyme at concentration 60 ng/ul converts about 30% of 1 uM PIP2 to PIP3 at 22°C for 60 min.

Application: useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
