|
| Description: |
IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal
antibody (clone 2A10/E2) obtained by immunization of
mice with a peptide of ERCC2 (80 kDa subunit of TFIIH).
The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
|
| Isotype: |
IgG1 |
| Biological Activity: |
This antibody can be used for ELISA
assay (1:8,000 dilution). It recognizes ERCC2 subunit of
TFIIH and it has not cross reaction with ERCC3 subunit.
ERCC2 is an ATP-dependent 5’-3’ DNA helicase, component
of the core-TFIIH transcription factor. It is involved
in nucleotide excision repair of DNA by opening around
the damage, and the initiation of transcription
catalyzed by RNA polymerase II.
