Freezing Media Pair are used to cryopreserve suspensions of
viable cells detached from monolayer cultures using the "cold
trypsin" method with PET™. Cells which have been cryopreserved
in this medium have been shown to have superior viability upon
reconstitution. The Freezing Media Pair has been used
extensively to cryopreserve human cells grown in serum-free
media.
