Interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) TiterZyme® Enzyme Immunoassay Kits
are used for the quantitative determination of levels of species
specific IFN-gamma in biological samples. IFN-gamma is a 14-18 kDa 143
amino acid glycosylated protein that is a potent multifunctional
cytokine. IFN-gamma is secreted by activated NK cells, CD4, CD8+TCRalpha/beta+
and TCRgamma/delta+ T cells. IFN-gamma binds to a single
class of high affinity receptors to exert its biological actions.
IFN-gamma exerts antiviral, antimicrobial and antitumor effects. It is
also involved in the regulation of proliferation, differentiation and
response of B and T cells.
1. Pipet Standards and Samples in duplicate into the wells and incubate.
2. Aspirate and wash the plate.
3. Pipet the yellow Antibody into the wells and incubate.
4. Aspirate and wash the plate.
5. Pipet Substrate into the wells and incubate.
6. Pipet Stop Solution and read on a plate reader at 450 nm.
7. Calculate sample concentrations from Standard Curve.
